Pet Hydration
Hydration is your pet’s total body water balance, how water and electrolytes (mainly sodium, potassium, chloride) are distributed between the inside of cells and the blood/tissues outside them. This balance sets blood volume and pressure, keeps temperature regulated (panting/evaporation in dogs), drives nutrient transport and waste removal (kidneys/urine), and enables every cellular reaction to run.
