Pet Picky Eaters

“Picky eating” is when a dog or cat regularly refuses food, only eats certain textures or flavors, or grazes without finishing meals. Causes can be medical or behavioral. First rule out health problems with your vet if appetite changes suddenly or weight drops. Then use simple fixes: consistent meal times, measured portions (no all-day grazing), fewer treats, warmer/more aromatic food, texture swaps, slow transitions, and light toppers to boost interest without overfeeding.
